Account Deletion Policy

This application operates solely as a technology platform that enables registered chit fund operators, leaders, and users to digitally manage chit fund–related activities.
The platform does not operate, conduct, manage, or own chit funds, and does not act as a foreman, financial intermediary, or custodian of funds.

How to Request Account Deletion

Users can request deletion of their platform account by either:

• Navigating to Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account within the app, or
• Emailing a deletion request to support@yourdomain.com from the registered email address

Identity verification may be required to prevent unauthorized deletion.

Eligibility for Account Deletion

An account deletion request can be processed only if:

• There are no active chit groups associated with the account, and
• All chit-related activities linked to the account are completed or closed, and
• There are no pending platform-level verifications or disputes

Accounts linked to ongoing chit activities may be restricted or suspended, but not deleted, until such activities are concluded by the respective chit operator or organizer..

What Happens After Deletion

Once the deletion request is approved:

• User access to the platform is permanently disabled
• Personal profile data is deleted or anonymized from active systems

Certain information may be retained only where required by law, including:

• Transaction references
• Chit participation logs
• Audit and compliance records

Such retention is strictly limited and does not imply operation or management of chit funds by the platform.

Data Controlled by Third Parties

Chit fund–related records maintained by:

• Registered chit operators
• Group leaders
• Organizations using the platform
  are governed by their respective legal obligations.

The platform does not control or guarantee deletion of records maintained independently by such parties.

Irreversibility

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

• Deleted accounts cannot be restored
• Historical data will no longer be accessible through the app
• Any future use will require fresh registration and verification

Users are advised to download or retain any required records before submitting a deletion request.

Platform Rights

The platform reserves the right to:

• Delay or decline deletion where required by law
• Retain minimal records for compliance or system integrity
• Suspend accounts instead of deletion when legally necessary

At no point does the platform assume liability for chit fund operations or settlements.
